Account & Data Deletion Request

At Practicing Muslim, we value your privacy and give you full control over your data. If you wish to delete your account and all associated personal data, you can do so by following the steps outlined below.

You can request the deletion of your account using one of the following methods:

1. In-App Deletion (Recommended): Open the Practicing Muslim app, navigate to Settings > Account, and tap on "Delete Account". Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm the deletion.
2. Email Request: Send an email to our support team at support@practicingmuslim.com from the email address associated with your account. Please use the subject line "Account Deletion Request". We will process your request within 7 business days.

When you delete your account, we will permanently delete the following data from our active databases:

• Your profile information (Username, Bio, etc.)
• Your email address and login credentials
• Any saved preferences, bookmarks, or custom settings within the app

In certain circumstances, we may be required by law or legitimate business purposes to retain certain data for a limited period. This includes:

• Anonymous analytics and usage data which can no longer be linked back to you.
• Records required for legal, tax, or regulatory compliance (retained for up to 90 days before final purging).
